2024 Acura Integra Interior, Release Date, MSRP – With the unveiling of its new Integra concept car in Los Angeles, Acura hopes to mark the return of affordable performance to its lineup. The new five-door hatchback is expected to go on sale in the second half of 2019.
We confirmed a few elements that we had already speculated about, starting with the powertrain. There will be a 1.5-liter turbo-4 engine under the hood, the first factory turbocharged engine for an Integra, and is most likely based on the one used in the Honda Civic/Civic Si. Acura did not provide a horsepower figure, although the version used in the 2022 Civic Si produces 200 horsepower.
The only additional mechanical features disclosed were the availability of a limited-slip differential and a 6-speed manual transmission, both of which were shared with the Civic Si. There will probably be an automatic transmission available. We hope it will be the 8-speed dual-clutch automatic now found in the ILX and TLX rather than the CVT used in the other Civic versions.
The redesigned Integra 2023 has thin side pillars to improve outward visibility, and rear side airbags are standard equipment. On the other hand, the liftback section is one of the most distinguishing elements. The rear seats split and fold in the typical 60/40 fashion, resulting in a flat load space and the ability to transport freight and/or passengers with greater ease and flexibility.
It has red needles for the instruments, stainless steel foot pedals, and contrast stitching on the steering wheel, front seats, and shift boot, among other things. The Technology option adds simulated suede inlays to the standard simulated leather seating surfaces, bringing the seats to life.
The standard infotainment system comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, and the Technology package adds a 9-inch version to the mix. Two of the 16 speakers in the ELS Studio sound system (which is included in the Technology package) are mounted over the heads of the front passengers to provide an immersive audio experience.
Acura believes that the base Integra will have a starting price of roughly $30,000 when it sells. It’s best to wait until we know that a high-performance Type S is in development before investing in it. It comes with sharper bodywork, 18-inch wheels, and the option of a six-speed manual transmission, which is not available on the standard model. We expect a Type S model to be substantially more expensive than a basic Integra when it comes to pricing. Still, Acura has remained tight-lipped about the model’s specifications thus far.
Acura claims that the new Integra will have a starting price of roughly $30,000 and has been referred to as “the new entryway” to the Acura brand. It has not yet been confirmed that the ILX will not be produced after 2022, but the sedan’s future does not appear bright. Acura’s entry-level model, the ILX, starts in the mid-$20,000 area and would see its price rise. The Integra will be constructed in the same facility as the TLX in Marysville, Ohio. It is expected to hit showrooms as early as next year as a 2023 model year.

Engine power for the new Integra comes from a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine formerly used in the Honda Civic Si. Unless otherwise specified, all models are front-wheel drive and include a continuously variable automatic transmission as standard equipment (CVT). It is possible to order A-Spec cars equipped with an optional six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. In addition, an adaptive suspension system is offered, and the A-Spec model adds an Individual drive mode to the Integra’s drive-mode selector switch, allowing drivers to save a customized driving configuration. 2024 Acura Integra Interior
The Indy Yellow Pearl paint used on the prototype is the same hue as the paint used on the NSX supercar. Acura claims that this hue was chosen for the prototype as a nod to the Phoenix Yellow used by the Integra Type R of yore, discontinued. The color is about the only thing the two vehicles have in common in terms of appearance; the new Integra embodies contemporary Acura, for better or worse. 2024 Acura Integra Interior
The fastback profile has been updated to a more contemporary form, with a lower tail than previous Integras. A rear lip spoiler completes the roofline, which rises to its maximum point at the top of the windshield and then flows back to the roof’s highest point. I’m not a fan of the enormous Integra decals that decorate the sides of the car at first glance, but the vehicle’s profile would be too plain without them. Therefore I don’t mind their inclusion. Acura has not stated whether or not they would be included in the production vehicle. As with the previous automobile, the Integra name is stamped on both the front and rear bumpers, the same as it was on the last car.
The Integra has grown substantially larger since the 1990s, much like my own body has become noticeably larger. Previous versions of Integras were significantly smaller than the new car when it was first introduced. When I saw the prototype in person, it appeared more significant than the Civic hatchback.
