2024 Acura RDX Review, Release Date, Redesign – The first of a two-part look at Honda’s future model plans begin with a sneak peek at what the company is thought to be planning for its premium division in the 2020s.
Acura’s smallest car, which is now more than six years old, will cease manufacture in 18 months. The ILX is primarily offered in North America and is made in the United States. It shares many similarities with the previous generation Civic. When American Honda withdrew their 1.5-liter+electric motor hybrid powertrain in 2014, this was Acura’s first hybrid vehicle.

Redesign
We haven’t heard much from Honda or Acura about their future all-electric crossovers. Still, we do know that they’ll use GM’s Ultium chassis and Ultium batteries. Acura and Honda will design the automobiles, while GM will supply specific significant components. Aside from the fact that Honda’s Prologue SUV is expected to be smaller than Acura’s, we don’t know much about the cars. 2024 acura rdx review

Exterior
Since the RDX’s recent aesthetic modifications, its design has converged more closely with the Acura MDX premium SUV. For those who have grown tired of SUVs with ever-more-obtrusive front grilles, the RDX’s subtle design may be a welcome respite.
Audi Q5, BMW X3, Lincoln Corsair, Volvo XC60 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class are a few of the RDX’s rivals. There’s a lot of competition in the markets, so there’s no shortage of options. 2024 acura rdx review
Interior
The redesigned RDX now features wireless smartphone charging, additional active safety features, and a more luxurious interior. Despite the fact that some of its rivals are faster or come equipped with more luxuries, the RDX has a solid reputation for being a good value, reliable, fuel-efficient, and fun to drive.

The RDX’s cargo compartment is roomy for a small premium crossover, at just over 29 cubic feet. To maximize cargo space, the second row of seats can be folded flat. 2024 acura rdx review
Engine
The 272-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine is eager to please and provides exceptional fuel economy for a small SUV, but it is the only option.
The 4,745mm-long RDX, which will go up against the Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, BMW X3, and Mercedes GLC in model years 2024 and 2025, is built on the same platform as the Civic and Accord. The V6 of the previous generation was replaced by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Powered by Honda’s ten-speed automatic transmission. There will be a makeover in 2021 and a replacement in 2024, according to the model’s expected lifespan.

Price and Release Date
The base 2023 Acura RDX luxury crossover is expected to start at roughly $40,000 when production begins in time for second half of the year. This price is for a front-wheel-drive RDX; an AWD model will cost an extra $2,000 on top of that. 2024 acura rdx review
With all of its options, the most expensive RDX costs roughly $51,000. A panoramic moonroof, heated outboard rear seats, all-wheel drive, adjustable suspension, and 20-inch alloy wheels are just some of the extras thing you’ll get with this model.
Even while that’s a lot of money, many of the Acura RDX’s competitors, particularly those from German luxury automakers, may cost many thousands more. 2024 acura rdx review
